Apple announces 'special event' to be held September 7th

Apple has sent out invitations via email to selected media outlets announcing a special event on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 to be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The email features the line, "1,000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again."

Apple introduced the iPod on October 23, 2001, describing the device as "a breakthrough MP3 music player that packs up to 1,000 CD-quality songs into an ultra-portable, 6.5 ounce design that fits in your pocket."

I wonder what it could be? The iTunes cell phone? A video iPod?

I heard it was a musical vibrator. It can play up to 1,000 songs and please the user(s) at the same time. It has a FM signal that can play through your home stereo as well.
Pretty cool, huh?
