I have created Kicked It In the Sun in the hopes of creating a forum where we can all discuss sports, music, movies, and politics etc. A few times a week I will add links to any articles or videos etc for your enjoyment. Please email me with any links to anything you think others would appreciate as well. On the right hand side I have included links to websites I check on a daily basis.
We have been immersed in the "Into the West" series which has inspired my next question....if you could have lived in any other era other than ours what would it be?? (interpret it freely:) Mine I think would have to be the 20's , Gatsby Era, with full regalia of course:)

Without question I would have loved to be a teenager during the beginning of the Rock-n-Roll era. I'll say 1956-1967. From Little Richard and Elvis to the Who and the Beatle's Seargent Pepper album. Such an innocent and amazing time marred a bit in the mid 60's by that stupid conflict in Vietnam.
It would be so cool to have listened to Buddy Holly and Richie Valens etc. and go "what the hell is this shit?". A new discovery every day.
In late 1967 I would have chosen to become a non-hippie anti-war activist and then get into politics and help Woodwood and Bernstein take down Nixon.
