Banning Text Messaging?

I am for banning everything except road pops and road helmet!
Just kidding.
Ban text messaging for sure, ban cell phones for sure unless you are operating a hands free device, and please ban anyone from driving into Seattle who doesn't know where they are going. Slow and confused drivers are worse than the agressive ones. They are too unpredicatble.

Seattle Area Commute Times Taking Longer and Longer

This data begs us to ask the question one more time: Why isn't there a rapid transit system that covers the Airport, to the Eastside, and up to Everett? The Seattle and State beurocratic transportation b.s. has grown tiresome. This fall we will be asked to approve a large regional transportation program. We will vote yes. My guess is that it still won't get built. The more we wait, the more expensive it becomes...

The best song out right now. I know that they sound like the Smashing Pumpkins. I don't care. The album is great.

Seattle's Suicide Bridge

That would really suck to work in a place where about once every few months you see someone jump 155 feet to their death. The numbers are rising. Perhaps the gods are angry Fremont has turned into a trendy/ritzy neighborhood without personality?

Dawgs Real Time Blog

I've just watched the Huskies give up an 11 point half time lead in five minutes. So frustrating! Man, now Romar just got a T on what should have been an over the back call. He looks like I do when my cat pukes on the rug and I accidentally clean it with bleach, which results in a tongue lashing from Rachelle.
Gasser (from Issy) for three! Nice one handed release from the former Indian big man.
Nice to see the Dawgs step up after the T.
Now we get a nice charging make up call on Elguchi. 68-65 UW.
Another foul on Oregon. That's four Ducks with three fouls. That will come into play big time.

Time to head upstairs to find out where Rachelle has hidden the mandatory house chocolate. (She hides it from me at my request actually because I have no self-control).

The ideal candidate for the Democrats may be the man who won the popular vote in 2000 -- and who opposed the war in Iraq from the very start

I have been predicting this for almost two years now and Gore still won't confirm he is going to run. I think he will. I also think that he and Obama would make an incredible ticket. Will it happen? I can only hope. If not, I am hoping Giulani wins the Republican nomination because I agree with him on many issues.
But if Al Gore runs I will be in hog heaven (that is of course if the real Al Gore runs, not the lame/boring candidate from 2000).

Very interesting article.

Some Coffee Stands Get Steamier

Rachelle and I were driving on Bothell Way and I noticed there were two girls in bathing suits serving coffee. As it turns out this is one of the places referenced in the coffee article.
What a great idea right? The place on Bothell way is always busy. Some might object of course, but they have the option to not go there for coffee.

Everything Comes Down to Poo!

The best Scrubs Episode Ever!!!

I am watching Scrubs the musical and it's the best musical I've heard since South Park The Movie. 'Everything Comes Down to Poo' is the funniest song since 'Kyle's Mom's A Bitch'. I have paused it during the commercial. More soon.

What was the point of this raid? There are so many more important things to worry about around here.

T.R. Knight From Grey's Anatomy on what it's like working with a homophobe.

Idiot Alert@

This guy just woke up from 1953 where racism was acceptable. Next he'll tell the Jewish community to just "get over" the Holocaust too.
