This program is AWESOME for transferring songs from IPODs to computers. Any computer. Yep. Sweet.
I have created Kicked It In the Sun in the hopes of creating a forum where we can all discuss sports, music, movies, and politics etc. A few times a week I will add links to any articles or videos etc for your enjoyment. Please email me with any links to anything you think others would appreciate as well. On the right hand side I have included links to websites I check on a daily basis.

I love the second sentence here from the article above...
"Other evidence from population studies suggests that people who regularly smoked marijuana in the 1960s and 1970s are less prone to develop Alzheimer's than people of the same age who did not. Yet many other studies show that long-term regular marijuana use -- 10 years or more -- has a negative effect on a person's ability to pay attention to more than one thing at a time and to learn and remember new information. "
Geez, I don't know anyone like that. Like what? Hey, did I leave the iron on? Dude, South Park is friggin hilarious. Man, I can't believe I used to not like tomotoes in my grilled cheese.

This is a well written article from Newsweek's Pulitzer Prize winning columnist George Will about the idiocy of banning Internet gambling. Oh and I should probably mention George is another conservative who has been up in arms about all of George Bush's BIG government policies and new laws (i.e. the war, torture, illegal spying etc.)
George calls the banning of Internet gambling prohibition II, but I would argue criminalizing marijuana was II and this is really III. But that is really semantics. The bottom line is the government is once again telling me what I can do with my money.
Check out the article here.
On a side note: whatever happened to Republicans who wanted smaller governement? I miss you.

Please say hello to Kylee Makena Mitchell (see below).
Rachelle is 20 weeks along in her pregnancy and she is due the first week of March.
Oh by the way, if you couldn't tell from the pictures and name, we are excited to be welcoming a girl into our life!
A few of you have asked how we decided on the name. Kyle is my middle name and Lea is Rachelle's middle name. Combine them and you get Kylee.
Makena is the beach we were married on in Maui and one of our favorite places on the planet.

Wow. A roller coaster game with a walk-off Field Goal from 54 yards. It doesn't get much better than that. Who was that team in the first half? They looked simliar to the team that was destroyed by the Bears two weeks ago. I like the team that played in the second half better. They reminded me of last years team.
Things to remember: we played this game without our star running back (and 2006 MVP), our starting tight end, and our starting slot receiver and best third down receiver. The offensive line is still recovering from injuries. Deion Branch is still learning routes.
Memo to Trufant and Hamlin: I don't care how hard you hit. Just cover people please.
