Felix
So how enjoyable was last night's M's game? Only the most fun I have had all year. Felix is insane.
If I have this figured out correctly Felix will pitchFriday the 26th against the White Sox and Wednesday night the 31st against the Yankees.
I am hoping to go to both games and grab decent seats.
Another good one

Franz Ferdinand
I have seen Franz twice and both times they tore the place apart with their strobe rock. Their Showbox show last year was one of the best shows I have seen. Ever. It was Dance Fever all over the place.
On Sale This Weekend:1077 The End presents Franz Ferdinand for two nights at the Paramount - Saturday October 1st and Sunday October 2nd. Opening both shows will be TV On The Radio and Cut Copy. Tickets for these all-ages shows go on sale Saturday, August 20th at Ticketmaster outlets for $30 (plus service charges). See this week's Endmail for another exclusive EndMail Pre-Sale.

The Arcade Fire/Six Feet Under
First of all, the end of Six Feet Under is very intense and tough to watch due to the complicated emotions every single character is going through after Nate's death. However, the show is still hypnotic and I find myself watching through covered eyes from time to time.
Secondly, The Arcade Fire song that finished the show is one of the bands best songs and deserves to be downloaded from ITunes. I love how mellow it is until it builds up to the group chorus. Uplifting and sad simultaneously.

Entourage Screen Tests
First of all, I meant to reply to Dagg's post. Yes, it's awesome. Every episode.
I've been wathing these screen tests on ON DEMAND, but now they are online. The Gary Coleman and Pat Morita clip is great, but I personally like the clip with all the old WWF wrestlers. I need more.

DVD's
Hey everyone,
I am looking for some good movie recommendations for me and my buddy Netflix. I am pretty much into anything with a good story with the exception of any movie with Ashton Kutcher, Brittany Murphy post 2000, or the Freddie Prince Jr. crew.
Thanks!

Joke of the Day
A physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing a rectal exam:
1. "Take it easy, Doc. You're boldly going where no man has gone before!"
2. "Find Amelia Earhart yet?"
3. "Can you hear me NOW?"
4. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"
5. "You know, in Arkansas, we're now legally married."
6. "Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?"
7. "You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out..."
8. "Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!"
9. "If your hand doesn't fit, you must quit!
10. "Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity."
11. "You used to be an executive at Enron, didn't you?"
12. "God, Now I know why I am not gay."
And the best one of all...13. "Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there."

Seattle Dining Guide
The Seattle Weekly has created a "Seattle Dining Guide" that you can put on your iPod. It breaks restaurants out by Cuisine, Neighborhood, and Price. It has a brief description of the restaurant and an address and phone number. VERY handy for making quick reservations!
Your iPod needs to be enabled for disk use (don't worry they tell you how to do it)
Check it out here
This is pretty cool!

Animal Attack
The pictures above are injuries sustained from a canine attack that occured while I was walking back to my hotel room last night. Luckily Rachelle was able to get me free, but as you can see I will have a few scars for a while. An animal expert told us the canine was a Eeloj and that usually this type of animal roamed the country and rarely ventured into the city. I don't remember exactly what it looked like myself, I just know it has a terrible bite.
Click on the picture for a larger view. If any of you are concerned about rabies the doctor tested me this morning and so far so good!

Scarlett...you rock

Here is an excerpt from an article about Scarlett...
It seems that during the filming of "The Island," Scarlett balked at wearing unmentionables in a bedroom scene. As director Michael Bay recounts to Reuters, he was called to his leading lady's trailer just before the scene was set to shoot, figuring he'd have to give her a spiel on how it would all be handled with decorum.
"She's standing there and she says, 'I'm not wearing this cheap-[bleep] bra. I'm going naked,'" says the schlock-meister.
For Johansson, it was simply a matter of verisimilitude. "I said, 'Women don't normally sleep in a bra. I can't wake up in this scene wearing a bra. It's ridiculous,'" explains the It girl to Entertainment Tonight. "He said, 'What do you want to wear.' I said, 'Well, nothing!'"
Bay's response: "It's PG-13. You have to wear the bra." (Hear that sound? It's a million disappointed guys all vowing to make Michael Bay pay dearly for that decision.)

Funny
I don't much care for Matchbox 20 or Rob Thomas. However, this is pretty damn funny, especially the last sentence.
Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas has rubbished reports he had sex with Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise - and is even more mortified he's been labeled a fellow Scientologist. The singer is horrified by claims he was caught in bed with the War Of The Worlds star and has finally spoken out to end the rumors. But he's even more offended by reports he's joined Cruise and other followers of L. Ron Hubbard's Church Of Scientology, which has been labeled a "cult" by some critics. He says, "If I were gay, Tom wouldn't be on the top of my list...It would be Brad Pitt. I'm more offended by the rumors saying I'm Scientologist."

First Half M's What Nots from USS Mariner
Note: VORP is value over replacement level player
Trent
Just a few random numbers from the first half that you may find of interest.
Ichiro, who had a ?disappointing? first half by most peoples standards, is 6th in the American League among outfielders in VORP. The five ahead of him are Hideki Matsui, Vladimir Guerrero, Gary Sheffield, Johnny Damon, and Manny Ramirez. Remember, VORP does not include defense. Even while slumping, Ichiro?s an elite player and a legitimate all-star.
The Mariners, White Sox, and A?s are essentially tied for the major league lead in defensive efficiency, turning 71.6 percent of all balls in play into outs. The M?s ranked 6th (70.1 %) last year, 1st (72 %) in 2003, 9th (70.5 %) in 2002, 1st (72.7 %) in 2001, and 3rd (69.9 %) in 2000. Since moving into Safeco Field, the M?s have never ranked out of the top ten in turning balls in play into outs. That?s not a coincidence.
According to BP?s playoff odds report, after sweeping the Angels this weekend, the M?s now have a 0.26 percent chance of winning the division and a 0.06 percent chance of winning the wild card. In other words, if we played the second half of the season 1,000 times, the Mariners would make the playoffs in about three of those.
The Mariners rotation of Pineiro, Moyer, Meche, Sele, and Franklin has been worth about 9 wins over a replacement level pitching staff and about 1 win less than an average pitching staff. Franklin has been the team?s top starter, being worth 2.3 wins over a replacement level starting pitcher. That ranks him 55th in major league baseball and 26th in the American League.
Speaking of Franklin, there?s good reason to expect him to perform significantly worse as the season goes on. His Fielding Independant ERA of 5.21 is a run higher than his actual 4.35 ERA, and his Expected Fielding Independant ERA, based on his component numbers, is 5.72. Both his FIP and his xFIP are worst on the staff. However, because the gloves have been turning 75 percent of his balls in play into outs, his ERA sparkles at 4.35. The next time someone tells you how ?unlucky? Ryan Franklin is, remind them that his BABIP is 9th in the majors among starting pitchers. His teammates might not score him any runs, but they save him a buttload with their defense.
More pitching fun. There are 56 pitchers in the American League who qualify for the ERA title. Of those 56, the Mariners starting pitchers rank 32nd (Meche), 40th (Pineiro), 42nd (Moyer), 51st (Franklin), and 52nd (Sele) in K/9. The starters have struck out 255 hitters in 514 innings pitched for a 4.46 K/9 as a pitching rotation. If the M?s staff was one American League pitcher, it would rank 45th out of 56 in strikeout rate. Talk about pitching to contact.
Adrian Beltre is 5th among Mariners hitters in VORP. Seriously. Only Ibanez, Sexson, Ichiro, and Morse have provided more offensive contribution to the team than the M?s third baseman. He?s still 25th among major league 3rd baseman, however. Among those major league third baseman with a higher VORP than Beltre: Jeff Cirillo. Ouch.
Eddie Guardado has been about 2 wins better than a replacement level reliever, ranking him 4th best in the American League. Considering he?s doing it with a torn rotator cuff, he?s having one of the most remarkable seasons of any player in baseball this year. He?s basically dominating with nothing but chutzpah.

Fun With All Stars
Who cares if the M's are 'winningly challenged". There is still no place I'd rather be within the Seattle city limits on a nice evening than Safeco Field. Part of the fun of going to the game is of course talking about the game and therefore talking about the deserving/non-deserving all-stars. I love the debate.
On a side note it's nice to see Beltre hit three home runs in a week. Who knows, it could be the start of something big especially since he actually hit a home run to right field.

Live 8
I hope you are watching this throughout the day. I just saw the lead singer of the Verve join Coldplay in London for Bittersweet Symphony. Very cool. His name is Richard Ashcroft I think. Anyway, it's on VH1 and MTV all day.
The show started with U2 and Paul McCartney doing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band which had never been done live before.

Testing
Hey everyone! Happy summer. I was having technical difficulties with the blogger but now I am back. So as a test I will shamelessly plug our d9 dance website:)
For the record I too am SICK of Tom Cruise. Off topic, we saw Crash and I really LOVED it. It is time we continued the race relations discussion and admit there is still an issue.
We are currently in the middle of the documentary, "Story of the Weeping Camel"....takes place in Mongolia and I am fascinated. It was one of the nominees....
Over & out...

Finally Something We Agree On
BERLIN (Reuters) - Hollywood actor Tom Cruise not only battles creatures from outer space in his latest film "War of the Worlds," he also believes aliens really exist, he told a German newspaper on Wednesday.
Asked in an interview with the tabloid daily Bild if he believed in aliens, Cruise said: "Yes, of course. Are you really so arrogant as to believe we are alone in this universe?"
"Millions of stars, and we're supposed to be the only living creatures? No, there are many things out there, we just don't know," Cruise, 42, said in the interview published in German.
Cruise's film "War of the Worlds" is based on British writer H.G. Wells' 1898 story of the invasion of Earth by Martians.
When asked to explain his recent strange behavior, Cruise admitted he was recently abducted aliens who probed him anally for three days straight. They only wanted to probe him for an hour of course, but he enjoyed it so much he asked for more!
Why did he ask for more? He had done the research of course.
In other Cruise news:
Tom Cruise has been further criticised for slamming the consumption of drugs used to treat depression during a recent TV interview - by the American Psychiatric Association (APA). The mental health organization has accused the War Of The Worlds star of behaving irresponsibly for labeling anti-depressant drugs a "pseudo science" during a chat with American TV newsman Matt Lauer on the Today show last week. In a statement, the APA says: "It was irresponsible for Mr. Cruise to use his movie publicity tour to promote his own ideological views... (and) deter people with mental illness from getting the help they need. Rigorous, published, peer-reviewed research clearly demonstrates that treatment (of mental illness) works. It is unfortunate that in the face of this remarkable scientific and clinical progress that a small number of individuals and groups persist in questioning its legitimacy." Cruise has also recently blasted actress Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants.

War! Huh! (good God ya'll)
People in this country are actually getting smarter. Amazing. I guess after the Downing memo proved Bush wanted to go to war with IRAQ and THEN create a reason the public would buy into it has finally hit home with some folk.
Is Bush a scapegoat for the IRAQ wars continued failure? Nope he is the reason for its continued failure. No Bush in office would mean no war in Iraq. Pretty simple really.

30 Days
Tonight is the premiere of Morgan Spurlock's new show called 30 Days. He's the guy who did Super Size Me. The show got good reviews. The series is only 6 episodes and each episode is about what happens to people when they are put in certain situations for 30 days.
The first episode tonight is about him and his fiance living on minimum wage for 30 days. Other episodes include a red neck living with a large Muslim family for 30 days or the effects on a thirty something guy's body who tries to reverse the aging process.
If you liked Super Size Me, you'll probably like this show. Its on FX at 10PM

Entourage is Now My favorite Show
When I was watching this with Dagg and Brandi last week we all said "this should be an hour long". Rachelle and I said the same thing last night. We are always so disappointed when it's over...but I guess they are supposed to leave you wanting more.
From EW
'Entourage'': Eric straightens out his personal life, while Ari and Jaime Pressly show the bad side of Hollywood as only pay cable can by Charles Curtis
Did I say sophomore slump last week? Waaaaay off. After watching the credits roll at the end of last night's episode, I've decided to join some of my fellow viewers in asking ? nay, demanding ? that HBO give this show the hour it deserves. Entourage has been packing a whole lot into just 26 minutes, but imagine the possibilities. Then again, you can't argue with the formula of a show that starts an episode with a fast car and ends it with ''Vegas, baby.''
What could be better? How about the triumphant return of the real Ari Gold? It took an episode to polish off the rust, but better late than never. Starting with the Lakers game, where Ari's Jack Nicholson-esque barking got the ball rolling, the superagent seemed to recover from whatever was ailing him in the first episode. He stopped sounding desperate and started rolling with Vince's punches. And of course, he had the line of the show, explaining at the Lakers postgame party that he couldn't attend Jaime Pressly's soiree since it conflicted with . . . a certain celebratory night at the Gold household. But that moment became even more hilarious later when Eric confronted Ari about the agent's statement that everyone in Hollywood is unfaithful, asking him if it applied to his wife. The very same woman he had loudly joked about ''punishing'' suddenly became ''the mother of my kids.'' Yes, Ari! You don't have to put up with E's insolence. A little tough love will show these rookies that you're their only hope of maintaining the flow of cars, starlets, and mansions.
But the MVP of this episode is little Eric, who is all grown up now. When you're the Scoutmaster surrounded by a bunch of Cubs who aren't exactly what one might call responsible, it must be disconcerting when their rampant suspicions about an unfaithful girlfriend are actually correct. Now, raise your hand if you did a Tiger Woods fist pump when E stuck it to Kristen. Yes, yes, I know ? two wrongs don't make a TV relationship right. Eric's little hotel tryst with Perfect 10 model Liana might make him the last character on the show to earn the adjective ''sleazy,'' but you knew it was only a matter of time before he got rid of the lyin', whinin', cheatin' Kristen. As Turtle put it so nicely, ''The three of us can't stand her.'' If I haven't made it obvious enough in both last week's and this week's TV Watch, make that four. (Sadly, this probably isn't the last we've seen of the girl who cried food poisoning.)
While Vince's best friend and new manager received a free Maserati and a few phone numbers to restore his swagger, Vince's brother couldn't catch a break. Johnny Drama's obsession with his skinny calves was worthy of eye rolling, but the look on his face right before the director asked him to strip was priceless. You could only wish that Turtle was around as a witness to needle him about it for the rest of the episode, instead of only one throwaway joke comparing Johnny's legs to those of the Dallas Mavericks' lanky 7-foot-6-inch center, Shawn Bradley.
Guest star Jaime Pressly also deserves an entire paragraph. Why? Unlike Lakers' forward Lamar Odom, who pulled a Peet by stopping by for a total of 12 seconds of airtime, Pressly was the engine that ran this episode. My first thought was that the producers could have snagged someone who hadn't made her last big headlines with a prime-time make-out session with Tiffani Thiessen on Fastlane, but Pressly held her own, providing both some heat for Vince and a pretext for the gratuitous nudity that reminded us that, yes, this is HBO, where F-bombs and stripping are always on hand to show us just how wild Hollywood really is. Between the shirt that came off on the bed at the Peninsula Hotel and those shed on Jaime's beach, we get the idea.
And on an extreme side note: Did anyone else notice that Debi Mazar has made her way into the show's opening credits this season? Though she went AWOL from this episode, that must mean we're going to get a major dose of Shauna soon. Adding the foul-mouthed, icy publicist to an already volatile mix can only make things better. Maybe she'll have an intra-cast affair with Ari and help persuade their star in the making to do Aquaman. Too Friends for you? Thought so.

Interesting...Beer
You know it's kind of funny how stuff works in cycles like this. I remember in 1999 when I started jamming with T, Scott, and Marshal and Marshal was like "Bring over same Rainier". At the time all I drank were expensive beers and/or micro brews so I thought it was a bit strange or even cheap to grab a Rainer. After all, I wasn't a poor college student anymore. However, I instantly enjoyed drinking the Rainier and so the tradition of drinking the cheap stuff during band practice was born. It wasn't until I came back from Cabarate that I finally made the switch to light/cheap beers for good. (My dad had already beat me to it by supplementing his Coors Light with an occassional Keystone Light. "Hey, it's just Coors Light in a cheaper can" he would say. "Mom can save a ton at Costco". It was always fantastic when my mom would go to Costco to get milk, eggs, bread, and TEN CASES OF BEER!!!)
Anyway, so now evidentally it's "trendy" to drink the PBR and Rainier etc. As someone who gets gets nervous when pop-culture catches up to him (see Modest Mouse, Puma, weed, Paul's Boutique,Interpol and 70's attire) I now announce my switch to OLYMPIA beer whenever I can find it.
Having beer is great, but having a choice of beers is wonderful.

Great White Stripes Article
What a great record. It's all over the place and yet still accessible. The thing I find hard to believe is that it's just these two and that Jack White produces the records himself. No studio trickery or session musicians.
I have been listening to the new Coldplay as well and as we guessed, it's basically A Rush of Blood to the Head 2. That's not a bad thing per se, but there is nothing new here and most of the songs will remind you of other songs. However, I am sure I will still listen to it quite frequently during my mellow moments. I still hold a belief that Coldplay could eventually be the next U2...or at least as good as the Doves.

New Music
New White Stripes and Coldplay CD's arrive in stores today. The White Stripes album is supposed be fantastic. Basically Rolling Stone calls them the best band on the planet. Check out the other reviews at http://www.metacritic.com/music/artists/whitestripes/getbehindmesatan. Yes, the album is called "Get Behind Me Satan". Kind of funny, but Rachelle tells me the say thing! Bu-dum-dum!
The Coldplay record is getting average reviews at best, but I am sure it's good if you are a big fan. I'll know more after I get both at Best Buy for $9.99 each.

Cool Phone Call
8:00 am Sunday morning
The phone rings and my sister is breathing really hard telling me she is on mile 6 of her Rock-N-Roll Marathon in San Diego. Pete is one mile ahead of her and she says the adrenaline rush from all of the other competitors and the crowd is un-real. Evidentally there are tons of cheerleaders along the whole way and they keep chanting "Go Shelby" because her name is written on her arm.
She called me from Uncle's phone that is clipped to her side. Pretty cool, eh? I have never been so proud of my sister!
On a side note I am disappointed in my uncle because he only liked the last half hour of the new Star Wars movie. I believe it's much better than that of course.

Our Government Sith
So I have been reading the Internet as I do and I noticed something pretty funny. On different web sites the current Republican Government is now being called "The Sith Government" in reference to the Star Wars evil doers. If you haven't seen the movie, there are many subtle and some not-so subtle references towards out current state of affairs and present leaders in Washington. Depending on how you look at it, Lucas is saying that Chancellor (Emperor) Palpatine's quest for power and never ending war is very similar to George W. Bush putting the Patriot Act into play and creating his own war etc.
At one point Anakin even says "If your not with me, then you are against me" or something very similar.
Anyway, just thought it was funny we now have a Sith government.

So it was all about Walt...
The special powers, The Others wanting the young...do you think that the baby was a distraction. Is the French woman one of The Others (no)? What's up with the machine monster now? Can't Locke and Jack be friends? So many questions. I do think that the whole Walt issue at the end was a perfect surprise. I didn't see it coming at all. Awesome...except for the fact that there were no previews for the next show...

Star Wars and Lost
When Michael and Jin were working on the raft, Michael yelled at him "No, no! This one goes here, that one goes there, got it?" Han solo said the EXACT same thing to chewy when he was working on the Millenium Falcon in Empire Strikes Back. Paying homage one day before the opening of Episode 3? Maybe.

You heard it here first...
This is all still just rumors - but my God - if it's true...Look Out!
"Superfly is expected to announce the Vegoose Music Festival within the
coming weeks, to be held on the surrounding fields of Las Vegas, NV -

Thomas and Mack Center the first two evening's, while moe., Umphrey's
McGee, Phil Lesh and Friends and others will share the stage at the MGM

The Black Crowes on evening three at the Thomas and Mack Center, while
right down the road at the House of Blues, The John Mayer Trio will

Survivor
Jeremy is the big winner with Tom and gets 80 bucks! Skoog took second with Katie (at least Colby voted for her lazy butt) and gets 15 bucks. I took third with Ian and get my money back.
Since I had Ian and he likes to give everything to Tom, in the spirit of Ian, I'm going to give Jeremy (Tom) my 5 bucks...so Jeremy wins 85.
I must say as this is only my second season watching Survivor it was nice to see the game could be played relatively fair (I use the word relative strongly). This group seemed to have higher standards and morals then the last batch...can't wait for next season.

Sweet!!!!
From E Online:
Hallelujah! Arrested Development fans, brace yourselves. I have some good news and--well, you might want to sit down for this--some mind-blowing, earth-shattering, out-of-this-world, fantastic news.
Earlier this week, a friend here at E! interviewed Jason Bateman at a charity event with his good friend Ben Stiller. When asked the status of Arrested Development, he lit up like a banana stand: "Actually, great. Supergreat. There is a heartbeat. There is no flatline. And there may be twins. I'm going to let Kristin figure out what that means. I can't comment any further, but there will be an announcement next week."
After various calls to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Garner's OB-GYN re "twins," I can tell you that Jason's little hint had nothing whatsoever to do with any of those things. And while there are 17 listings for a "J. Bateman" in the local Hollywood white pages, none of them know a damned thing about the fate of Arrested Development. But glory be, after much badgering and pestering, two rock-solid Fox sources, who have never failed me before, caved and gave me the lowdown.
Though they're still dotting I's and crossing T's on the final documents, I'm told Fox network and 20th Century Fox studio are "99.9 percent of the way there" to reaching an agreement on the new season. According to these highly placed sources, it looks very likely that Arrested Development will be coming back not only for a full season of 22 episodes but actually two full seasons of 22 episodes. How freaking fantastic is that?
At press time, I can tell you this is precisely where the show's fate stands. So, barring any last-minute switch-a-roonies or bad acts by Satan or Rupert Murdoch, we will get glorious "twin" seasons of the best damn comedy on TV.
According to these insiders, even though the ratings weren't exactly American Idol numbers, Fox's new prez, Peter Liguori, bless his perceptive little heart, has faith that the show will do well in a different time slot. He also wants to bring AD up to the magical episode number required for syndication and feels the show will do very well in repeats and also in DVD. Can I get a "Hell, yeah!"?
That said, not to be a Downer Debbie, but another much loved, little-watched fave isn't likely to be so lucky...

Things you need to see or listen to
Go see Crash. Outstanding ensemble cast. Powerful and heart tugging scenarios. A movie with something to say. Nothing is as it seems. You'll want to talk about it...
The HBO series Entourage is on DVD now and the new series starts in a few weeks. Like movies, celebrities, cameos, good music, sex, drugs (lots of drugs) and Jeremy Piven? You'll love this show.
Built To Spill, Spoon, and the Doves are all coming to Seattle soon.
Revenge of the Sith has been getting fantastic reviews. I am taking about 25 high schoolers to see it next Thursday night. It's a double feature as we are hitting Rick's afterwords.
Spaceballs just came out on DVD. Use the Schwartz!
The Raveonettes, Spoon, Coldplay, Audioslave, and the White Stripes all have new albums out soon. Lets exchange tunes.
Have you seen Hotel Rwanda? It's hard to believe Genocide still occurs in the world. One million people dead in 100 days? Insane.

The Contender
Who else here loved seeing Jesse knock Anthony the f out?
That was AWESOME. (see the video clip here)
And last weeks fight? How tough was Joey Gilbert...coming from behind to almost upset Peter Manfredo?
I'm still rooting for Alfonso to win it all...but it looks like he has to fight Peter Manfredo next week, so who knows what will happen...

HOT Lanes and Planned Tolls
I have been an advocate of tolls for quite some time and it's nice that people are going to be able to pay for the roads they drive on as opposed to the government trying to raise all the road funds through general taxes.
If I was in charge I would toll I-90 heading west in Bellevue and 520 heading West in Kirkland. I would also toll 99 in Fremont and South Seattle.
From the times (click link for full article)
Highway 167 isn't the only place where the state's transportation policy-makers are flirting with tolls.
Motorists will pay to cross the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge, now under construction. It's a foregone conclusion among state and local officials that tolls will be imposed to pay part of the cost of replacing the Highway 520 bridge. New lanes on Interstate 405 could be managed as HOT lanes.
"I think the [Alaskan Way] Viaduct's going to have to have tolls on it, too," said Bruce Agnew of the Discovery Institute, a Seattle think tank, pointing to the likely gap between available tax revenues and the $4 billion cost of replacing the aging bridge with a tunnel.

Survivor
From EW:
As for catty Katie, she's starting to become pretty damn annoying. True, it was funny when she mentioned that ''We can't get a female alliance because Caryn sucks,'' but her gossipy playground tone is really wearing thin. (Speaking of which, Jenna Morasca is convinced Katie is the first Survivor contestant ever to actually gain weight playing the game. Just wanted to throw that out there. Feel free to discuss among yourselves.)
